I have a pet lizzard?

Did someone buy me a pet lizzard and train him for me and all??
Whoever did, please come forward....I want to know who would buy me such a gift.

I just moved in with my Grandmother..for various reasons:
1. The economy sucks--- hey free rent @ grandmas!
2. I would like to put money away and pay off bills
3. I would like to figure out what to do with my life...and i can't do that while spending every paycheck on rent.
4. I want to travel.
5. My grandmother cooks
6. I still have my freedom
7. I have great friends who let me stay at their houses when i am to tired/drunk to drive.
8. I was thinking of moving out of state to be w/ my family...but right now..that idea is dwindelling because of my opportunities that have popped up here.

so as i move into this tiny room at my grandmothers..i am all settled in. I hear these weird tik tik noises on my window for weeks now. I decided to investigate. I found a lizzard on the window...a small one..not just on the window though, on the INSIDE of my window

I am wondering how he got in there, and how long its really been there? So i asked my grandmother about this lizzard. She says that lizzard is always there and just runs around in a circle on the window..she said that about 3 years ago my grandfather used to go in there and he had a radio in the window and the lizzard would be standing on the radio almost in a dancing pose. So they called it his pet. As many of you know my grandfather passed away last year, but his pet lizzard still remains in the window. What does he eat and how does he live? I dont know because he sure is still there. Quite odd...but neat at the same time. Most people would run away or throw it outside...and while i am scared of lizzards...i feel like he is there for a reason haha. I go and check the window every so often and he dissapears from time to time..i wonder where he goes and if i am safe at night in my bed. haha- but this house is on a lot of wooded land in chelsea..so there may be worse things than lizzards creepin around me!

Just thought i would share...

Today's Writing Prompt: Technology What modern technology would you have trouble living without?

What modern technology would you have trouble living without?

I ask myself this question. Being a Computer Science major in college, it is hard to answer. I love technology in all its splendorous. So I weigh the different types of technology and what they can do for me.

  • Computers allow me to connect to this wonderful world, connect w/ old friends, and even look up my flu symptoms.
  • Computers allow me to have a job, allow me to be good at something.
  • Computers allow me to write this blog and share it with you.
  • T.V allows me to keep track of celebrities lives.
  • T.v allows me to learn new things on the discovery channel and national geographic.
  • Radio allows my morning drive to be so much better.
  • Radio allows me to learn about new artists.
  • My I.Pod allows me to go into the glorious musical abyss, with thousands of songs at the disposal of the palm of my hand.
  • My Cellphone allows me to contact people when I am out and about.
  • My Cellphone allows me to text people something I really didn't want them to hear my voice say.
In conclusion, computers help me out the most, they can do anything that every bit of technology i use can do. The computer can make phone calls, I can watch TV on my computer, I can listen to the radio on my computer, I can use my hard drive as an ipod on my computer , as well as do many many other things on it. I <3 computers

Nano Wrimo

National Novel Writing Month.
So Al told me about this on Saturday night. Basically, its a contest in November (started 11/1..im already behind on schedule) to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. Ending on the 30'th. As Al has explained to me...all you get is a completion certificate in the mail, but you do get a sense of accomplishment. I don't know, I am going to try this out. I love to write, and if you have read my blogs...than you would also think this would be quite easy for me. We will see....
Oh and the name of my Novel?? "Accomplished" = this is not only because I will feel accomplished at the end ..but because what I will be writing about has a sense of accomplishment.
www.Nanowrimo.org come be our friend on there..its sort of like a slow outdated myspace. yey.

How about a little Laugh Therapy?

Hello All! This is my first blog for my blog website and my side project site (www.beeskneestees.com). So WELCOME!!! I guess I will use this first blog to tell you all a little about my measly little self. My name is Ashlee-Jean if you haven't gathered, I live in Birmingham, AL , yet I was raised all over the United States because my Dad is a Marine. My whole life I traveled from Marine base to Marine base and your occasional Navy base (just to change it up a bit), so I suppose you could call me "cultured" but please..do not give me this much credit. Like I said, "Marine base to Marine base and the occasional Navy base" ...this being said, it leads me to the question you may be thinking: "how cultured can you be if all you are around are Military Brats?" . Well my lovely new friends, you can be about as cultured as the 3 month old carton of milk in my refrigerator. Does that answer that nosy little brain of yours? I hope so. Anyways, what brought me to Birmingham is the Oh-so fantastic college experience. Which, I have been dragging around with me for 5 years now and still have yet to figure out what I want to major in. I love how other people have "ideas" of what they want me to do with my life. Such as "Ashlee-Jean..you should be a Laughter therapist" ( apparently I can make people laugh, and laughter is the best medicine they say) or " Ashlee you should be a Furniture Tester" (I am also great at sitting around on my Lay-z-boy.) My question is...do these jobs pay the bills?? Probably not, so I am a 5 year undecided major college student. I have traveled from the far lands of Computer Science with all of its Offspring's : Web Design, Networking, Graphic Design, Internet Technologies; all the way to the Public Relations, and Education. Computers are my passion, definitely am great at working with them and can figure almost anything out on them, but I suck at Math, so that has canceled that option, because to graduate Computer Science you have to have like 20 billion math classes for some reason. This is when I say...I'm stickin it to the man and going Freelance on yo ass. Yes yes...that is what brought me here to this wonderful website. I currently am working full time as an Admin Assistant, and going to college full time at night. So I asked myself "What can I do with all this extra time that I have in between my 40 hour a week job and my 12 hours a week classes?" and I told myself, 'why don't you die from sleep deprivation and do what you really love, at least you will die doing something you enjoy"...i bet your wondering.."ok...so you enjoy this website? And writing blogs?" Well heck yes! Don't you? I enjoy designing things w/ my Graphic Design background in college, and I love just humoring people when they actually get my humor. I love being able to express my personality through random things like...well, a t-shirt (hey i could have said Myspace, but lets save those jokes for the shirts). So My love for graphic design+my ability to build a website+my laugh therapy+my tendancy to want to be expressive + my love for funny t-shirts= beeskneestees.com
Thank you. Thank you very much.

Did you get rushed to the Emergency Room yet?
